Sonny boy wanted to go cycling.
So we did.
There goes my plan to do nothing.
Plover Cove Reservoir is fantastic!
It’s nice stroll.
The dogs are out.
Lots of healthy walking.
Some more walking.
A love story waiting to unfold.
Fun fun fun!
Wind, water, hills.
All we need.
Time to walk …
Compositions like these are strangely satisfying …
It’s not difficult.
But the lines seem to be exerting a kind of tension.
Everyone’s in a hurry.
Rush rush rush.
Time to slow down…
Stand at a corner and look confused.
Fumble with my camera long enough and someone will walk past.
I’ll look a bit lost and confused and frown at my camera.
I wasn’t holding the camera to my eye.
Another favourite activity: aim at the window.
And let people get in my way.
I’ve come to appreciate photographs that look like they were taken accidentally.
Street photography is an art that requires artlessness.
