Haiphong Road Temporary Market at Tsim Sha Tsui
Sonny boy has this great idea about trying out the beef ball noodles at Haiphong Road Temporary Market which has been there for 30 odd years.
So yes – I’ve an excuse to whip out the camera. The scene was quiet at first, with a guy eating quietly and a lady appearing on the left.
Then I looked again and the scene changed in a matter of minutes.
Such drama suddenly, quietly taking place.
The beef balls were great, with a tinge of citrus.
Cycling at Tai Mei Tuk
Sonny boy wanted to go cycling.
So we did.
There goes my plan to do nothing.

Was at the HK Food Festival at the Convention and Exhibition Centre, because sonny boy is interested in food prep and stuff.
We tried the squid.

Boat Trip
Went on a boat trip from Sai Kung to an outlying island.
The famous Chung Kee Noodles in an alleyway.
Checked out various boat trips on offer.
Looked at the fresh seafood for sale.
An old lady approached us and quoted $250 for a trip and off we went.
It’s a salt mine village.
There were many abandoned village houses.
Then we saw this.
Beautiful.
There’s a history here waiting to be figured out.
